Frequently Asked Questions
What are the dates we should be aware of?
The ceremony and reception are Sunday, September 12, 2027, at Alila Marea Beach Resort. We recommend arriving Friday or Saturday morning and staying through Monday, so there is time to settle in and spend the whole weekend together.
How do we get there?
Fly into San Diego International (SAN). Alila Marea is about 30 miles up the coast, roughly 40 minutes by car. Uber and Lyft both run from the airport, though at around $60–100 each way. We recommend considering a rental car for the weekend, or Uber/Lyft and staying closer to the venue.
Where should we stay?
Anywhere in North County works well — Encinitas, Carlsbad, Oceanside and Del Mar are all a short drive away — and Airbnb or VRBO are great options as well. If you would like to stay at Alila Marea, we have a discounted rate for our guests.
